Residential interior design in Metro Vancouver
one room or the whole house.
We design homes for people ready to refresh a single room or rethink how the whole house works together. From concept and layout to finishes and furnishings, every project is designed to feel intentional, not assembled. The studio has worked this way across Metro Vancouver since 2005.
Book a Discovery CallWhole home interior design
Whole home design is one coordinated plan across every room, so the house reads as a single idea instead of a series of disconnected updates. We set the layout, palette, lighting and furniture direction together, then work through the rooms in an order that suits your budget and schedule. It suits new homeowners and anyone planning a full top to bottom refresh.
Condo interior design
Condo design works within the realities of strata living: tighter footprints, building restrictions and move-in logistics. Strata alteration approval is usually required before a condo renovation starts, so we read the bylaws early and design to what the building allows. In a smaller plan, storage, lighting and furniture scale do most of the work, and we draw them carefully.
Space planning
Space planning gives you a clear, workable layout for a room or an entire home before a single dollar is spent on finishes. We solve flow, furniture placement and sightlines on paper, where changes are still easy. It is a good starting point if full design service is not the right fit yet, and the plan is yours to build from.
Colour consultation
A colour consultation is a focused session to choose a palette for one room or the whole home. We look at your light, your flooring and the pieces that are staying, then name the colours for walls, trim and ceilings so your painter has a clear list to follow. You get confident colour decisions without the guesswork.
Furniture selection
Furniture selection is a curated list of pieces that fit the space, the budget and the style, with clear guidance on exactly what to buy and why. We check dimensions against the plan so nothing arrives too large for the room. If you would rather not manage the orders, we handle sourcing, tracking and white-glove installation.
Material and finish selection
Material selection means flooring, countertops, tile, paint and hardware chosen as one cohesive package, not picked one at a time and hoped into matching. We review samples together and record every choice in a written specification, so your contractor can price and order without guessing.
Window treatments
Window treatments are selected to suit light, privacy and the overall design, with function and style handled together. We specify drapery, blinds and shades room by room, thinking about how each window is used through the day and what the treatment looks like when it is open.
3D renderings and mood boards
Renderings and mood boards let you see the space before it is built. You approve a direction with confidence before any materials are ordered, and the people building the project can see the intent instead of interpreting a description.
How a residential project runs
Every project moves through the same four phases: Discover, Advise, Design and Execute. We start with a site visit and measurements, agree on a scope outline and a budget frame, then present layout options and a concept palette before detailed design begins. Each phase has named deliverables, so you always know what you are getting and what comes next.
When the design needs drawings or a permit
When a design moves walls or changes structure, it needs drawings, and usually a building permit. We draft permit and construction drawings in-house, so the layout you approved is the layout your municipality reviews and your contractor builds. There is no separate drafter to brief and no intent lost between desks.
What to have ready before the first call
Photos of the rooms, any floor plans you hold, a rough budget range and a sense of timing are enough to start. A list of what is not working in the house is more useful than a list of products. If you live in a strata, have the renovation bylaws on hand. None of it needs to be polished.
Working with your contractor or ours
You can take our design to your own contractor or have us manage the project. If you have a contractor, they receive the full specification and drawings, and we stay available for questions. If you do not, we work alongside licensed contractors and trades and coordinate the work through our renovation project management service.
Happy with the rooms, but not how they feel?
Our home decor service furnishes and styles the home you already have.
