Bathroom design covers the layout, fixtures and finishes for your remodel. It suits clients managing their own contractor. Everything is drawn and specified, from the tile layout to the height of the niche, so trades can price it accurately and build it without guessing.
Bathroom renovation with project management
A managed renovation is design plus full project management, start to finish. We coordinate plumbing, tile, glass and millwork so the sequence never stalls. Bathrooms pack many trades into a small room, and the order they arrive in matters.
Ensuite renovation
An ensuite renovation is planned around how the room is used every day. We look at storage, light and heat first, then at who uses the room at the same time and what needs to be within reach. The finishes follow from those answers.
Powder room design
A powder room delivers big impact in a small footprint. It is the one room every guest sees, and it is small enough to let a single material do something memorable. Lighting and the mirror matter as much as the tile.
Family and secondary bathrooms
A family bathroom has to survive daily use by several people. We plan for durable surfaces, storage each person can reach, and a layout that lets two people use the room at once where the space allows.
Waterproofing and ventilation
What sits behind the tile decides how long a bathroom lasts. Our drawings detail the waterproofing, the shower base and the ventilation, not just the finishes. On managed renovations, we review this work on site before the tile covers it.
Accessible and aging in place design
An accessible bathroom does not have to look clinical. Curbless showers, blocking in the walls for future grab bars, better lighting and wider clearances can all be designed in from the start, so the room keeps working as your needs change.
Permits, drawings and strata approval
Relocating plumbing or changing walls usually needs a permit, and we draft any permit drawings the municipality requires in-house. In a condo, strata alteration approval is usually required before work begins, and buildings often set rules for working hours and water shut-offs. We plan around them.
How a bathroom project runs
We measure the room, agree on the scope and present layout options with a concept palette. Once the direction is set, we specify every fixture and finish and complete the drawings. Materials are ordered ahead of demolition, which is what keeps the construction window tight.
What to have ready before the first call
Photos of the bathroom, rough dimensions and a budget range are enough to begin. Tell us who uses the room, what is failing now, and whether you want to keep the tub. If the home is a condo, have the strata's renovation rules on hand.
Bathroom design is a fixed fee; managed renovations are quoted per project. We are upfront about where tile and glass budgets actually go.
Common questions
“I had a major home renovation done by Asha and her team at Complete Home Design, and I was totally blown away by the transformation. I just handed over my house keys and gave complete rein to their expertise. My family and I were thrilled with the outcome.”
