Renovation and project management
one point of accountability.
We manage renovations on site: trades, timelines and logistics coordinated by the studio that designed the project, so it stays on track without you having to run it yourself. One point of accountability from demolition to installation.
Book a Discovery CallRenovation project management
Project management is on-site coordination of trades, timelines and logistics throughout the renovation. Decisions get made at the right moment, problems get caught while they are still cheap, and you get a weekly picture of where things stand.
Why the designer manages the build
The studio that drew the project is the one best placed to protect it on site. We manage to our own documents, so when a trade asks what a detail means, the answer comes from the people who designed it. That is where our leverage comes from.
What happens before demolition
A renovation is won or lost before demolition. We complete the drawings, confirm the permit requirements, order the materials and agree on the sequence with the trades first. Work starts when the pieces are in place, which keeps the time you live without a kitchen or bathroom as short as possible.
What we coordinate on site
During construction we schedule the trades, answer site questions, review shop drawings and walk the project at the milestones that matter. Site questions come to us, not to you. The work closes with a deficiency list, and we stay until the items on it are done.
Weekly summaries
You hear from us every week at minimum. Each summary covers progress, the decisions we need from you and what happens next. Urgent site questions reach you the same day, with the options and our recommendation attached.
Permits and construction drawings
Structural changes need a building permit, and a permit needs drawings. Ours are drafted in-house, so the permit set, the construction set and the design are the same information. When site conditions force a change, the drawings are revised at the same desk.
How we work with contractors and trades
We manage and coordinate on your behalf and work alongside licensed contractors and trades. You get design-level quality control on top of construction-level scheduling. If you already have a contractor you trust, we can work with them.
Furniture procurement and installation
Procurement covers sourcing, ordering, tracking and white-glove installation of furniture, so all that is left to do is enjoy the finished rooms. We handle damaged shipments and backorders so they do not become your problem.
Who this service suits
Managed renovation suits homeowners who want the result without running the job: people with full schedules, owners renovating a home they are not living in yet, and anyone who has managed a renovation before and does not want to again.
What to have ready before the first call
Tell us which rooms are involved, what you want to change and when you hope to start. Photos, any existing plans, a budget range and any contractor quotes you already hold all help. If a design exists, send it, and we will tell you honestly whether it is ready to build from.
Project management is priced as a percentage of construction value or a monthly fee depending on scope. The structure is agreed in writing before work begins.
Common questions
“I had a major home renovation done by Asha and her team at Complete Home Design, and I was totally blown away by the transformation. I just handed over my house keys and gave complete rein to their expertise. My family and I were thrilled with the outcome.”
